Las Vegas Philharmonic: 2018 – 2019 Concert Season

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts Welcomes the New Season September 15, 2018

The Las Vegas Philharmonic is set to launch into its 20th concert season with Musical Director Donato Cabrera celebrating his 5th anniversary in Las Vegas.  The season will please subscribers and guests with performances that cross the boundaries between the classic and the popular.

The concerts range from a celebration of Leonard Bernstein as part of a worldwide celebration of his 100th birthday as the orchestra performs selections from West Side Story and Candide to evenings with the works of Rachmaninoff,  Tchaikovsky Mendelssohn and Bach.  Guests will also be treated to an early Halloween event with the score from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho performed by the orchestra as well as a family favorite holiday concert with a performance that includes the winter holidays classics.

Tickets and Subscriptions:

Subscriptions to the new season start at just $110 and go on sale Thursday, April 5, 2018, through The Smith Center Box Office.  Music Director Donato Cabrera and special guests will continue to host pre-concert conversations one hour prior to each performance in Reynolds Hall to discuss the works to be performed and the history behind the music (no pre-concert conversation for Time For Three performance – March 2, 2019).

Ticket pricing in the 2018-19 season will stay consistent with the 2017-18 season pricing.  Subscribers save 10% when they renew before June 5, 2018, and can choose among three different concert packages at five different price points.  In addition, subscribers can purchase additional single tickets with their subscription order at the 10% discount.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic will continue to offer its shuttle bus services from its Henderson and Summerlin locations in Las Vegas to its Reynolds Hall evening performances during the 2018-19 concert season.

"Zeke, you've flown it, eaten it, drove it & drank it! - Denise Henwood, Las Vegas lover, with her accurate description of what I do and what I've done in Las Vegas. If you consider a Las Vegas vacation as an opportunity to redefine yourself, if only for a few hours, then I'm sure this guide will help you. Las Vegas is about having fun and trying new things, I'm the bad influence you need. You're sitting at your desk thinking, "I need to talk to Zeke Quezada today!" Get in line behind my wife, who just so happens to forget that if she sent me an E-mail maybe I would respond. You're headed to Las Vegas and you are just not sure about a thing or two. No worries, drop me a note and I'll try to help you. If I don't get back immediately, don't take it personally, the inbox can get a little thick with questions and I can only type with one hand if I'm at a restaurant stuffing my face and abusing my liver. Send an email to ZekeQuezadaAbout@gmail.com "If you are in an elevator and some guy starts asking you questions about what you liked and disliked in Las Vegas, it's probably me."
